For voice recordings for image film, product film or explainer video, I can always record one or two sentences free of charge as a voice sample.
It is a bit different though with radio spots, TV commercials or pre-rolls for the internet: since a commercial usually has only got a length of 20 to 30 seconds,
a custom demo only makes sense in full length. For this I usually charge a (fair priced) layout-fee.
